I have been photographing steadily for 20 years. My first camera was a Kodak 110 which started my interest in photography as a child. I purchased my first SLR camera in my early 20's. While I started out self-taught in photography; I have trained with Rod Planck a professional photographer located in Michigan. Entering photography & Art contests I have won multiple awards. While I still adore 35 mm film camera’s I have updated my equipment with the technology advancements; I now photograph with a digital SLR camera.
In the year 2002 I was approached to take fire scene photos for the Schenectady Permanent Firefighter’s Association and done so ever since. These photos have additionally been used by the Schenectady Fire Department for investigations and training.
On the front cover of the January 2011 FireNews edition a picture of mine was published.
